I’m a 24-year-old library assistant, adjunct English instructor, and graduate student. I was an English major as an undergrad, and I’m currently a secondary English education major in graduate school. I was born in a small town that you’ve most likely never heard of. I was diagnosed with diabetes on New Year’s Eve 2007. I read voraciously. I love grammar.
I’m addicted to caffeine, particularly in the form of Coke Zero. I hate silence, so I rarely stop listening to music when I’m alone. I would much rather hang out with my friends than do my homework. I have a list of things to do before I die, most of which involve traveling; the list currently contains 88 items.
I teach remedial writing to college freshmen. I enjoy writing, although I don’t write as often as I should. I like to imagine I have something to say, but I often find that I’m more worried than insightful. Nonetheless, here’s my blog: chock full of fiction and memoir, music and book reviews, and reflections on life and love and why.
