I’m a 31-year-old English instructor at a small university in South Carolina. I have a B.A. and an M.A., both in English. I was born in a small town that you’ve most likely never heard of. I was diagnosed with diabetes on New Year’s Eve 2007. I read voraciously. I listen to baseball games on the radio while I grade papers, and I tweet too much sometimes.
I teach writing and literature to college freshmen and sophomores, and I enjoy it much more than I ever thought I would. I don’t blog as often as I like, but I also don’t like to fill my blog with nonsensical posts. Instead, I prefer writing about those subjects that matter most: life and love and baseball.
